Here are a few of examples of projects that we have delivered.

Project 1 - Technology | Agile (SAFe)

As the Client's Product Owner we worked with their Agile (SAFe) Scrum team, conveying vision and business strategic direction for a Data Migration & Integration project (Microsoft SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS), Oracle, SAP) of vulnerable customer records (industry wide & subject to GDPR) with impact on the Client's Retail Call Centre (1600 FTE).

We acting as the conduit between the business & digital development team, providing decision making & feature prioritisation through the management of Product Backlog (JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr) and we participated in Programme Increment planning workshops.

Project 2 - Utilities | Business Change & Transformation

As Project Management Consultants for this Utilities Client, we directly shaped & drove Contractual, Process (As Is vs To Be), System & Organisational change improvements. We also delivered wide scale New Technology Introduction and a fast track product rollout. All of this work was directly linked to regulatory (OFWAT) performance targets and was critical to the Client's business continuity. These project activities providing £multi-million cost avoidance and significantly improved operational performance for our Client.

This work included;

  • Scientifically testing new processes and technologies against hypotheses to prove scalability and commercial viability / benefits.

  • Writing business case submissions & securing additional funding (£10m) from the Client's board for further development.

  • Assessing Business Impact & Readiness and constructing business engagement & communication plans.

  • Robust engagement in the design of a new organisation structure (250 FTE), writing role specifications, supported HAY sizing, TUPE risk assessments and developed on-boarding plans with the Client's HR Business Partner.

  • Active management of operational resources to efficiently deploy new technology in field locations throughout the Midlands.

Project 3 - Aerospace | Supply Chain Transformation (TOM)

We project managed multiple global supply chain transformation projects for this Client as part of their combined strategy to improve their Target Operating Model and on-boarded numerous strategic partners to either improve business continuity or achieve price reductions.

As the Client's representative, we had regular interaction with Supplier Managing Directors and worked closely with the Client's Strategic Buyers to competitively tender, down select and engage new 3rd Parties.

Project 4 - Nuclear | Project Assurance

Engaged by the Client, we were embedded within the Contractor's delivery team to provide Project Assurance.

As Project Management Consultants we managed the re-engineering of a legacy design, manufacture & commissioning process that lead to an 18 month reduction in delivery timescales.

We worked seamlessly with the Contractor's commercial team and conducted an extensive Invitation to Tender (OJEU) and supplier down selection exercise (NEC 3 Option A - Fixed Price). The final contract award provided the Client with £600k cost avoidance.

We also managed the design, build, commission & operation of a substantial test rig facility for remotely operated vehicles (Brokk). This included umbilical cabling, CCTV monitoring & recording system and operator workstation, as well as the writing of Standard Operating Procedures and testing protocols.

Project 5 - Aerospace | Factory Design & Layout

Acting as Senior Project Manager, our consultant formed and lead (remotely) an Engineering, IT Infrastructure & Commercial worldwide team based in the Far East, North America and Europe on behalf of the Client and successfully delivery the Design & Layout of a World Class repair facility.

This complex £35m project with challenging timescales was delivered with confidence to the Client's Executive Vice President and regional Managing Director.

Project 6 - Petrochemical | Capital Delivery

We project managed multi-disciplined teams through the Client's Business Change Process to deliver numerous Capital Expenditure projects, ranging from £125k to £6m which were all regulated by strict Health Safety and Environmental guidelines.

One of these projects included the front end work scoping, development of project execution plans and management of a tendering process for improvements to the physical security of the Client's site. This involved the relocation of main control room, upgrades to CCTV, re-establishing the fence line and improvements to turnstiles and key vehicle access points. We had direct control of project budget, scheduling of activities and risk mitigation. We also worked with the Client's Procurement team to engage, select and manage sub-contractors, consultants and other third party specialists.
